Physically fit and active individuals can plan their next vacation rental destination around the California Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, set to take place in March 2012.

Contestants in the rigorous event will start the course with a 1.2-mile swim in the peaceful waters of the Oceanside Harbor before spinning their wheels around the 56-mile bike course, viewing the beauty of San Clemente State Park and enduring the tough hills of Camp Pendleton. The dedicated athletes will finish up with a 13.1-mile run through Oceanside’s coastal neighborhoods.

The Famous San Diego Zoo
