Female travelers who reserve rooms at Palm Springs condo rentals this March can join a number of celebrities who plan to attend Club Skirts’ Dinah Shore Weekend 2012, or The Dinah, as it is more commonly known.
In the past, The Dinah, which is considered to be one of the largest lesbian events in the world, has attracted some of the biggest names in show business. Musical acts such as The Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Joan Jett and Ke$ha have all performed in recent years.
The 2012 edition of The Dinah will run from March 28 through April 1, and promises just as many famous faces. The Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan, is scheduled to perform, and so too is up-and-coming artist BC Jean, who penned Beyonce’s hit song, “If I were a Boy.”
Those who attend The Dinah will also have an opportunity to discover emerging talent through some of the event’s shows.
It was recently announced that actress Meredith Baxter of the 1980s sitcom Family Ties will take part in a question and answer session at The Dinah.
With so many exciting events planned, travelers will want to make sure they have condo rentals reserved so they do not miss their chance to hobnob with celebrities in Palm Springs.
