Then a large chunk of whatever is left goes towards my parents' expenses. My last vacation was well over a year ago. I haven't been able to afford to do much traveling (and it is quite expensive when you come from a large family) but I dream of traveling around the world someday. I have never been to Hawaii but would love to in the near future. I'm contemplating applying to school there just so I can experience it's majesty. From the very beginning, I've had a deep love and appreciation for the Hawaiian culture, and my room is even decorated in a Hawaiian theme! I was born and raised in Southern California, yet I never felt like I belonged here. I have been fortunate enough to visit Hawaii before, and I have always felt like Hawaii was home. I would end up sobbing the entire flight back to California, and while I am here, I am home sick for Hawaii. I am a recent college graduate with a political science degree, and I hope to move to Hawaii soon and work within the Hawaiian state government.
