1) I think I deserve this vacation because I'm a full-time college student who works 40 hours a week in order to pay for tuition, car expenses, food, rent and utilities. Then a large chunk of whatever is left goes towards my parents' expenses. My last vacation was well over a year ago. I haven't been able to afford to do much traveling (and it is quite expensive when you come from a large family) but I dream of traveling around the world someday. I have never been to Hawaii but would love to in the near future. I'm contemplating applying to school there just so I can experience it's majesty. I imagine a week in Hawaii would be a week in heaven.

2) I have yet to stay at (or be at) any resort, but Waikiki Royal Kuhio Beach Resort looks incredibly relaxing and exciting.

1) I think I deserve a Hawaii getaway because I've always felt like Hawaii was truly the place for me to be. From the very beginning, I've had a deep love and appreciation for the Hawaiian culture, and my room is even decorated in a Hawaiian theme! I was born and raised in Southern California, yet I never felt like I belonged here. I have been fortunate enough to visit Hawaii before, and I have always felt like Hawaii was home. I would end up sobbing the entire flight back to California, and while I am here, I am home sick for Hawaii. I am a recent college graduate with a political science degree, and I hope to move to Hawaii soon and work within the Hawaiian state government. I can't explain it, but I would love to go back there, if only for just a week.
2) My favorite resort is the Point at Poipu - I never stayed there but I got to take a tour of the grounds; it's absolutely beautiful.

My family really needs a Hawaiian vacation to relax and reconnect. We can't afford a vacation this year, but really need one. So far, our favorite is the Carlsbad Inn Resort.

I'm about to have my second child and my husband and I sure could use a kid-free vacation to reconnect. Our families both live back east and it seems we're always spending our savings to fly back and see them rather then go somewhere for ourselves. Hawaii seems like the perfect destination and I could desperately use a break from my very stressful career (which I'm soon to be juggling with a newborn and a three year old).

I guess my favorite resort would have to be the only one I've been too which is in my home state at Breckenridge CO.
