The exhibitions, State of Mind and Two Schools of Cool just opened at Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) this past weekend. State of Mind: New California Art Circa 1970, highlights artist from the late 60’s and early 70’s who broke the boundaries of the traditional art world and led the emergence of conceptual art and its related genres. Two Schools of Cool pairs Los Angeles artist from the 60’s and 70’s with artist who recently emerged from LA beginning in 2000.
