Rather than spending the night at Anaheim timeshare rentals listening to music on an mp3 player, visitors to Orange County, California, should see what is playing at the nearby City National Grove of Anaheim.

Travelers may recognize this concert venue by a few of its previous names. Before it was known as the City National Grove of Anaheim, the facility was simply The Grove of Anaheim and The Sun Theatre before that. No matter what the sign outside says, the venue continues to attract some of the biggest names in music and comedy.

The City National Grove has a seating capacity of approximately 1,700, and hosts more than 250 events each year. In the past, the venue has played host to such musical acts as Ray Charles, Cyndi Lauper and Seal, as well as comedians like George Lopez and Larry the Cable Guy.

Plenty of eclectic shows are planned for the months ahead. For instance, those who are staying at vacation rentals in the area at the end of February can check out Merle Haggard or 311. In April, music lovers who are feeling a bit nostalgic can attend a performance by The Fab Four, a Beatles cover band.
